From Oz

Hi Folks

Seems ages since I did a posting. Have just scanned through catching up on all the latest. We have gone from drought to flood here in Oz. Last night on the news it showed massive floods in the state of Victoria. (Where rewired Aussie lives) I felt so sorry for the cows stuck in a great sea of water.

We are in the middle of winter having passed the shortest day. I am off to Hobart on Wednesday for my pacemaker check at the Hobart Heart Hospital. My husband has to see the professor of Cardiology for a check up. (No show without punch). We are then heading south of the island for a few days to find somehwere to stay over Christmas.

I have been busy making all the arrangements for our trip to New Zealand for four weeks in October/November and stopping on the way back to catch up with Kay for a week. We truly love each other's company, even if the guys do flinch at the shopping outings.

This morning my husband had to go across the state for a speciliast appointment. My daughter drove him as I had already done the trip once this week. I sat having breakfast with my 11 year old grandson. I actually cooked him fairy bread. It was successful this time. The sun broke through and flooded the room with happiness and I thought how blessed I was to have this lovely little chap in my life. (I am not allowed to see my other two grandchildren) KBH (Kids behaving badly) I have my darling Jordan and my daughter has moved back home. She is a single Mum. we have divided the house up so we all live independently. True happiness. We did not have move into town from the country and I have all my family, pets and sheep and can wander and roam around in God's country.

As you know I suffer from depression and I thought that you would like to share my happiness if you are feeling down. There is so much around us. Sometimes we lose sight of just how much we have. I would not be around to enjoy it if it was not for a pacemaker.

Love to all
