GODS HELP

A little old lady needed a pacemaker but she did not have enough money to pay the medical bill. She was a churchgoer but after her prayers had not been answered she decided to write a letter to God. So she sat dawn and wrote a letter which said "Please dear God could you be so kuind as to send me enough money to pay for my heart pacemaker. Your most trusting and loyal servant. Mavis
She wrote on the envelope Our Heavenly Father.
Unfortunately the post office did not know where they could send it so they opened it and read the letter. They were so touched by its contents they held a collection for her. They sent her $25000 in a special parcel with a kind note enclosed saying God Has Answered Your Prayers and sent you $25000. She counted out the money and found that there was only $24500. She then wrote another letter to God thanking him for the money but pointing out the fact that $500 was missing and also a comment " IT MUST HAVE BEEN THOSE DEVILS AT THE POST OFFICE"

Hi Pete - Isn't this just like many of us? The story is funny and I got a good chuckle. Then I got to thinking about how ungrateful people can be when they are handed a gift...............it reminds me to be thankful for every blessing in my life. One of the blessings is my PM, of course! The people in this PM club have certainly been tremendous blessings in my life and I am grateful for every single person here!
