My laptop has been my best friend since my heart surgery in Nov. and the the pm in June. I have not been able to get out unless I have more tests to go to or Dr. appt. I feel like I just found a lot of friends! One's that understand and their experiences have help me to know some of my feelings are normal. Thank you to all ! Glad I became a member.

God bless you all,
cottontop

Cottontop,

This site is a great source of support. I have had my PM almost a year and I still check in every single day. The only people who can understand what we go through are others with a PM. Keep resting and taking care of yourself. You'll feel stronger every day.

Getting Well

by Wannabe - 2007-07-15 10:07:01

Poor Cottontop - how dreary for you stuck mostly indoors and your outings confined to doctors for tests. Too bad. You must be fed up with it all. Glad you've found this club a comfort. I certainly have done. I've had my PM since 21st April, and I'm getting used to it now. I have some days when I'm better than others as my nerves are often my worst enemy! That's when I turn to this Club and read the experiences of others and realise that, compared with many, I've little to whinge about At the same time I realise these nervous symptoms are almost par for the course after implanation. This is something I've learned from the cheerful and kind support so willingly provided by the Club members. Hope all goes well with you and you'll soon be back on your feet and raring to go. Kind wishes. Wannabe
