Recovery

It has been 3 weeks since my implant and I am still always tired.  Not as tired as before but still very tired.

Has anyone else experienced this type of recovery?

Yes and yes!! I was falling asleep sitting up in the afternoon. I think my body was telling me to take a break and zone out while it was tinkering inside healing my wounds. Having the pacemaker (CRT-P) inserted was a shock and my inner fibers were busy at work mending me and getting me used to the new faster heartbeat. My heart was used to a slow dance not a fast one. I was needing a nap every day.

In time that passed and now I'm busy busy.  Now I can stay up all the way to ten pm 🤣

How you feel now will change.

Time heals

Hi Raul.  You're body is healing so you are bound to be tired.  I can only advise you to listen to your body and don't be too hard on yourself.  You will get back to feeling well.  Don't be discouraged and just keep trying.  I think everyone's healing time is different. I just celebrated my 9 month mark for my pacemaker and can't believe how much better I feel. I can tackle the big hills on my hikes tnow hat I wondered if I would ever be able to do again.  Be patient.  You will feel better.

You know you're wired when...

You can hear your heartbeat in your cell phone.
