Thoracic Outlet Syndrome

Hi All,
Has anyone had any experience with Thoracic Outlet Syndrome? Is there anyway to relieve the pain? So far, I only have nerve involvement and not blood vessels, but it's very painful.
Any information would be appreciated.
Thank you.
Gellia

I don't know if you are a pacer or not, and that would make a differance in this case, especially on which side.1.I (have) Thoracic Outlet Syndrom .I never found anything to relieve the pain when I suffered. I had surgery a number of years ago that took care of the problem almost totally. (I still have some problems but they are very minor.) Depending on where you live at times changes your course of action. Here in Canada we have that type of sugery paid for and that would be my suggestion if you can.

Hi Gellia,
I thought I might have this syndrome, when they were trying to figure out the swelling on my left side [arm and shoulder]. I looked it up on the internet, and there is quite a bit of information on it. I think it depends on what is the root cause of it that determines how it is treated. I hope you can find some resolution to your pain!
