2 miles per hour. That is gentle.  Shouldn’t have triggered exercise induced arrhythmia.

Some of us may trigger an arrhythmia when we exercise and our heart rate naturally increases.  It happens to me occasionally and I have to stop exercising to relieve symptoms like skipped beats (ectopics), tachycardia, chest discomfort.  But then sometimes my arrhythmias are triggered by rest too, as my heart rate naturally falls.  As we have always said Cadaverock, arrhythmias may stop and start for no apparent reason.

Well done for taking deep breaths to calm your arrhythmias at the time.  I would mention this experience to your doctors and perhaps ask whether you could have an exercise stress test on the treadmill in their presence (if you haven’t already had this done) to see what level of exercise you can “safely” perform and to rule out other causes for your difficulties.  For example, coronary artery disease can adversely affect our ability to exercise and may trigger symptoms like arrhythmias.  If you need any pacemaker settings adjustments, they can also do these during testing as well.

Good luck and well done for helping yourself.

First, follow your doctor's orders.

I have a lot of PVCs, too.  I don't really notice them much when I'm walking but quite often after, they'll get pretty regular. I don't know if I don't notice them or if they start up as my heart is slowing down.  I also get them while watching TV at night so it's not a heart rate thing.

I see my cardiologist next week.  I'll see what he says.

Agent

Your symptoms match mine.

I walk a lot and notice nothing.

When I sit down, about 30-minutes later, they kick in.

So far, one blackout and several falls. This has now progressed to waking me during the night feeling really rough. Oximeter either can't get a reading but when it does, the last couple of nights BPM has been between 30 and 40 BPM, but more worryingly, oxygen sats are in the 80's and have seen 80%.

Currently awaiting an apraisal from cardiology. 18 years of no problems then 6-months of trouble and getting worse.
