New pacemaker questions

Hi! I'm Julien and I got a TAVR on 7/19/23 then a pacemaker on 7/20/23.

I have questions about a few activities. First, I like to build 50s style guitar amplifiers from parts. Some have hefty power transformers and all have output transformers, I'm not sure if it's safe to do. Of course I know to not put both hands on it but I still could get a minor shock but nothing that would run through me to ground. My real question is about any electrical field from a transformer, of course these are nothing like a line transformer. If you know, I'd like to know 😊.

Then I'm wondering about charging a car battery or jumping a dead battery.

What about using a metal detector? The field is directed into the ground unless it's on a shelf testing something.

I can't think of anything else right now.

Output transformers

It would take a transformer, and the power that would need it, much larger than you could lift to cause any problems.

Jump starting a car batter isn't a problem as long as you know what you're doing.  My EP won't let me anywhere near a running alternator but the jump starting the car isn't a problem. I just can't hang around the alternator after the car is running.  It's a combination of being dependent and a unipolar LV lead. Again, this is a special instruction from my EP.

There are few things one would normally find around one's home that could be problematic.  There are limits on welding and instructions to minimize risks but that gives you an idea just how big of a field that it takes to upset these things.
