I purchased an electric recliner with masssager. I did not even remember I have a pacemaker implant. I've been equipped since 2010. This is my second one. So - can I use the chair? I don't like massages so I wold not be using the massager, but I do need help to pull the levers, etc.

To be honest, I didn't even give it a thought as to whether or not I should use it post implant, I just did.
No issues.

I'm sitting on one now. There is no problem with the little motors in home appliances. There is little in a home that could come up to the level of being unlikely to cause any problems.

I love my electric recliner and wondered if it would be a problem for my pacemaker.
I also have an electric adjustable bed. Will that be a problem? It has a latex mattress.

I have had my pacer since 2005. At first it ruled my life. It took some time to calm down and make the mental adjustment. I had trouble sleeping and I worried a lot about pulling wires. Now I just live my life as I wish.

I use an electric recliner since pushing the buttons is easier that using a manual one with levers. As to the massage part i do not know the answer. If it has a magnetic and keep it 6 inches from your pacemaker. They generally say it is ok. Seems a waste not to use the massage part.
