Hey! When can I ride my Seadoo!!??

My doctor thought I was crazy when I asked when I could ride my Seadoo again! Whats the big deal?? Am I correct in assuming I will be able to do everything I could do before, after I heal? Hey everybody out there in internet land. Tell me the great stories of the sports you still get to participate in and all the fun you are having, even though you have a pacemaker! Help! I need to hear something great! Also, is there any other 50 yr olds or younger, that have a pacemaker?? Everyone, keep your sense of HUMOR! God bless you all!

God bless, keep up the humor. You certainly know what's good for what ails ya. Like Cathryn said, check out the engine issue. I was told not to use a chainsaw or stand over a running car engine if thehood is up. So check out that part of it. I'm 48 and since getting my pm 5 months ago, I have camped out for a week, bicycled a lot and am hoping to run a half marathon next month. I was training for my 1st marathon last April when I had to quit and get a pm. So I'm resuming training. I guess I'm not comfortable yet with having a pm and put it to the test periodically. Last week when it hit 105 degrees I went out and ran 4 miles just to see if I and it could handle it.
Life is good post pm. I have dug up my garden by hand and dug and set fence posts. It's all pretty amazing since in the weeks following my surgery I feared that I could never work again or run or do anything.
The funnest part of having a pm is when my coworkers tease me about walking past the microwaves, take out their carkeys and push the buttons when I walk by. I crack them up with stories of getting frisked at the airport.
Keep posting and let us know how you are doing,
Rusty
