Computers and Bluetooth

I am looking to replace my computer probably getting a new laptop. The model I like - HP all have bluetooth. Is it true that those with a pm should not use anything with bluetooth. I am completely confused. May be there is someone out there who can help me. The Sanyo does not have blue tooth. which is the alternative brand. Thanks Billie

Don't know what the official ruling is but both my phone and laptop use bluetooth and never had any issues. I hold my phone both sides and the laptop sits ON my lap. LOL.

Hi there Billie,

My cell has BT, my Laptop has BT, My desktop has BT.
Like Lottie said, I keep the phone and head piece to the rioght since my toy is on the left and as to the base station it's tied into a wireless router and my home office is only 10x15 and I have yet to ahve a problem in using any of them.

However, what I have found is that my wireless security camera system, (2.4GHz), doesn't like me near the reciever. I get enar it and the reciever goes nuts. But apart from that BT has not interfered with mine or me with them at all.

Shouldn't be a problem...

I have a BT phone, lap top, and palm. I have no problem with my PM around any of these devices.

IF IN DOUBT- ask your PM Tech, but I don't think you'll have a problem.

Oh good!!

Billie-
I will have to show this post to my hubby.
He keeps teasing that he will use the BT on his phone to set off my ICD. So finding out it won't hurt will really fix his wagon- HA HA
