Disney Here I Come!

My family and I are heading to Orlando, Florida. We are driving to Portland, Maine on Wednesday afternoon to catch our flight Thursday morning. The drive is about five hours, but the airfare savings is worth it, especially for a family of four.

I plan to go on every ride my eight and eleven year old sons want to experience. I hope my heart and pacemaker can take the excitement!

We are staying for eight night nights and plan to visit Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom and SeaWorld. This is our first trip to Disney. My sons are very excited!

I will log on to the site and check emails a few times during the trip, but plan to spend the majority of my time bouncing from theme park to them park and sitting by the pool if the temperatures warm up.

You deserve a wonderful vacation after all the work you do for this site! I'm so glad I found it. Even though I have a nursing background and am pretty knowledgeable in cardiac stuff these people have taught me so much more about pacemakers and the whole process including the emotional up and downs. Thank you. Dorothy

Fantastic!

p.s. I will continue to freeze here in the Midwest... My vacation time is coming though and I will be warm again. :-)

YAY!

So glad that you all are able to take a vacation and out of all places....Disney World. How exciting.

I do too hope that your heart and pacer can handle all of the rides. I'm sure that you'll be fine.

Oddly enough, you're just 4 hours away from me. LOL...The weather has been very weird this year.

Safe travels-coming and going, and throughout your stay. I'll be thinking of you all. I've heard that if you smile for an extending period, it's true, your face can really get stuck that way.....HA!

Been thinking about you and wondered if you were able to see any of the games, but since you were planning this vacation- probably not. LOL...

Blessings,
Angelie

Fun Time

Hi Blake, sounds like a real good time coming for you & the family. We were there a few years ago with the grandkids again. It's a great place, don't miss the GM ride at Epcot, it's fun & wild.
Wife & I are planning to go to Lakeland around April 1st.
As a pilot I really enjoy the Sun-n-Fun airshow at Linder Airport at Lakeland. Hopefully it'll be warm by then. I missed the PM get-together at Tampa last year as I was still under medical care. Next time!!! Have lots of fun!!! donb

Wow ~ You & Your family deserve a vacation ~ a big one for all the work you have done to start this PM Club, maintain it and make it the huge success it has become.

Since this month is the 10th Anniversary of the PM Club you started; just imagine what this PM Club will be in the 20th Anniversary! Over 25,000 members?

Have fun ~ bring/show us lots and lots of pictures. Enjoy the warmth and sun of Florida. Today we had 2" of snow, and we never have snow in Central Texas!

Bless You and Your Families,
Carolyn G. in TEXAS ( :

Pacemaker and rides

by ElectricFrank - 2010-02-24 02:02:03

The problem may be the other way around. With the Disney rides controlled by computers maybe your pacemaker will mess them up. LOL

Have fun,

frank

Have a great time

Have a great adventure and lots of fun. Can't wait to see the pictures when you get back.

I was there last May and rode most of the rides without any problems. Just use common sense

Bon Voyage!

Hope you and your family have a marvellous holiday, Blake. How I envy you the prospect of all that sunshine. I once went to Epcot - don't be taken in by the English village - I'm still looking for it over here! Also, if you find a black and white patterned plastic hoop earring in,or near, Alfredo's restaurant at Disney, it's mine. It will have been lying around there since 1989 when I lost it! Have heaps of fun. Love, Sheila

Last time I went to Disney World I spent most of my time pushing son number 2 around in his stroller while Daddy and number one son had all the fun! Hope it turns out better for you since yours can obviously walk. This was prior to 1989 so I didn't find any black and white earrings but if you should happen to find a very dingy yellow blankie please return it to.........
