Ablation Update

I'm scheduled for my second ablation to correct atrial flutter on Wednesday morning. I'm being admitting into the hospital tomorrow afternoon. My doctor wants to run some tests and ensure I'm stable enough for the procedure. I should be home on Thursday or Friday and back to normal on the weekend.

I'm not nervous yet, but based on past experience I will be needing an extra dose of valium to calm my nerves just before the procedure. My wife and nurses got lots of laughs at my expense the last time. Hopefully, they don't video tape me while I'm under the inflluence this time. I would hate to be a You Tube hit.

Cheers,
Blake

Oh but Blake you could be a "pacemaker club" hit!!! You could give some of the newbies and real look at what happens! I'll sedate ya! My patients dont remember A THING (some of us in the cath lab do, but we wont talk about that)! Good luck and let us know how all goes! And you know if you would quit looking at all the classy pacemaker pacer gals maybe you wouldnt have an flutters!!!

Hey Blake

Good luck. I'll be thinking of you for sure.

Just so you know: the weather here is fantastic.!!!

If you need anything....just give me a call, I'm in the book.

I'm going in for surgery on Thursday, so I guess we'll be missing one another by just a day. I'm gonna post later of why I'm having surgery :)

If for some strange reason, you end up staying in hospital on Thursday....you never know, we could end up meeting one another in the hallway!!!!!!!!

Take care buddy.

Pookie
