Blue Tooth

Will a Blue Tooth work safely with a medtronic pacemaker?
I know some of you know the answer.... aldeer

I use bluetooth all the time with no issues.
But I have an ELA pacemaker.
I guess they're all pretty much the same.

I've never had a problem. If you use it and feel funny, stop using it, or use it but be careful to keep anything doing the transmitting at least 6 inches away from your device. This goes for any electronic gadget. Most pm's are shielded and not going to give you a problem with most home electronics but if they do remember 6".

I don't have any problems with my bluetooth phone headset. I have a St. Jude ICD and called technical support at St. Jude to check it out.

Just make sure when it bites you that the bluetooth doesnt pierce the skin. It should be fine if it doesnt pierce the skin above the pm site. Or tell them to brush with crest to remove the blue. lol sorry
