Coreg CR & BP

I have been on Coreg CR for both heart and high bp. I still have morning hypertension that gets better later in the morning, but any stress or anxiety of any kind (like visiting the doctor:) and my bp shoots wayyyyy up. My coreg cr dose is one 40 and one 20 because a 60 is not available. My doctor does not want to increase it because of possibly going too low and feeling bad. Anyone else with that problem? Would appreciate your input. Otherwise I feel o.k. with the Coreg Cr, but I am concerned about the bp... aldeer
