Blood pressure and meds

I have been on Coreg Cr after my pacemaker two years ago. It is suppose to be the "magic pill" that takes card of both heart and blood pressure. I still have early morning hypertension and then goes to good readings unless under stress. Has anyone else had to combine another med with Coreg Cr to help with the bp without feeling too tired. I have to ask dr. this week, but would like other experiences with this med. Thanks for any help..... aldeer

I take coreg (12.5mg twice daily) and accupril (2.5mg twice daily) for blood pressure and heart. I have to take the two meds 2 hours apart or it causes my blood pressure to go too low. I do not have any problem with the two meds.
