Cystic Fibrosis

On the 1st of May, my grandson (14 years old) will be doing the Great Strides Walk for research in this very serious disease that begins at birth. Right now there is no cure, but the research has gone a long way to extend the lives of these young people. When Matt was born, the life expentancy was early teens. It has been extended for many years for most. As his doctor recently said, "He has angels watching over him". He is doing very well and is never without a smile....unless he is teasing his older brother :)... If you are interested in being a sponsor for the walk, any small donation can be made at this website. Thanks for reading.

"GO MATT"

I have a cousin in Florida who just turned 13 and also has Cystic Fibrosis. His mom is very much involved with all of these fundraisers and walks. As soon as my sister and I can get a few dollars together, this is one cause we will be donating to.

Good luck to Matt in the walk.
