Prayers

Hi there - I am asking if you could give a little prayer for my neice Karen at the age of 50 being diagnosed with breawst cancer.
She has gone through tests and biopsies and not said a word to anyone until this week. She did not want to upset the family and xmas is a sensitive time for us with family losses, loosing my dad xmas day and my twin brother 2 days after xmas, my uncle committing suicide to name but a few.
She had a iliostomy performed at the early age of 18 and been very brave, not many young girls could go through that having a bag on their side, but she became a counsellor in bowel cancer.
Sorry for being so sad at this time of the year.
Regards fluzy suzy

Fluzy Suzy, I am praying for your niece. What difficult news to have to deal with at any time of the year. I always have high hope for a wonderful holiday season, but somehow I find it is a sad time for me. I find that thinking of the good times over the year helps me. Sometimes it is hard to find them, but they are there... I just have to look harder and fine joy in the little things. No matter what you are not alone. There are many of us here that feel your pain and are living with similar problems. 2009 has been a dreadful year for me personally and I know from reading the post here that I am not alone. Many, many of us have very painful situations to deal with. We come here for laughs, support and encouragement. Sometimes we cry together, sometimes we get cross, sometimes we grow and sometimes we get better!
Continue to seek out your friends, as we will not let you down.
Blessings to you and your beautiful family.
