I'm back!

The doctors tell me my ablation was a sucess. The procedure took about three hours. They only found one bad circuit and checked the ones that were ablated a few years ago.

From my pacemaker, we were able to determine that my heart was in atrial flutter about 30% of the time since the fall. That explains why I’ve been so tired.

I got home last evening. I plan to rest for a few days and return to work some time next week. Thank you for the good wishes and prayers.

Blake

PS - After my last ablation, I purchased a new mountain bike. If you got any ideas what I should buy myself this time, let me know. The only condition is that it must improve my health.

Hello Blake,

I'm glad to hear the ablations went well.

As for a new device, you might consider a trampoline or pogo stick and some new walking shoes. I'm not sure how the trampoline of the pogo stick would improve your health but either would give you something different to do. Also, you would appreciate using the walking shoes as you tried to get over your soreness from using either of the other two.

Good luck,

Smitty

Wind Beneath Your Saddle ~ ~

Great to know you are home and A-OK. Good to know everything went ok, and you are taking a few days off.

Ever think about a horse? How about a Harley D?
Nay on the horse, they eat & poop. A Harley only uses a lil' petro. Either way, you would be in the saddle with the wind beneath you. Wild to the wind, IF not but only for a short time. Family oriented fun with the Harley D. and a "side saddle" for your young 'uns ~

Me? Only horses for me. Harley D's tend to "pitch" you off and/or roll with you.

I know... how about this.... :-)

A trip to Puerto Rico with Rachel would be a good idea. I'm certain that it would improve your health in some way! If that isn't in the plan... how about learning how to fly fish? I have always wanted to learn how to do that... the fresh air, the water, the fishing pole and the flies! Sounds like fun to me.

I recently took some cooking classes with some friends and there were a couple of couples there... men and women learning how to cook healthy meals together. It was a blast!

Whatever you decide to do I hope you have a great time.

So glad to hear it went well! I've been wondering when you'd be up to checking in again.

Hmmm, what to get next... I treated myself to rollerblades and skis when I got my first pm. You've already got the skis. How about camping/hiking gear or a snowboard? Skates are fun but only if you live in a flat area.

Good news that all went well. You have been in our thoughts.

How about a dog, if you don't have one? Plenty of those around that need a loving home. Think of it, it will adore you for ever and never give you any lip.
sincere regards Billie

we just love the wii and have a lot of fun with it challenging each other with the different games. It tracks your weight and BMI. Whatever you choose tell us how it goes.

Okay, that's short for trampoline ;)

We got one for my son years ago and it is so much fun and a great workout! The whole family uses it regularly.
