Low blood pressure?

Ok, recently I have been very dizzy, and it used to only happen after I made sudden movements. My mom thought it was low blood pressure, but now I feel lightheaded, tired, and can't think straight. Anyone know what's up? I am scared to death of stairs, because I am always afraid I will fall. I don't think Mom is taking this very seriously, but if things get worse, she is going to have to belive me.

Hope all is well with everyone else, Sydney

i went for checkup with my doctor and my blood pressure was low. he put me on the floor, propped my feet up on chair and called ambulance. i returned to hospital for 4 days. they determined the problem was caused by my medication. the doc took me off 2 drugs and the blood pressure rebounded.
hope you get results, too

See a Doctor

Everyone is right, there are so many things that can cuase your symtoms. I suffer from inner ear infections alot, I also have Low BP that causes fainting and many meds can cause dizzyness and weakness as well. Also, see if your doctor might check you for hypoglycemia, I suffer from this and it can cause many symtoms.
Good luck with everything and let us know how things go!

I second all the above advise!!!

Sydney~

Tell your Mom that you need a complete physical due to the dizziness getting worse! It began with just dizziness, now at lightheaded, dizziness and episodes of confusion... yep, your due a MD visit! If my calculator is right your about 14 & things are changing in your body and if your on any medications, or not, the entire system needs a once over! Our bodies are like machines.. they need check-ups, maintence, tune-ups and repairs. SO GET.. get to the MD and report back with the scoop... we are all cheering for you to find an answer soon!

Low Blood Pressure & Dizziness

by Pookie - 2008-05-30 09:05:55

hi.

I was (and still am) dizzy and lightheaded. I too thought it was my low blood pressure, but it ended up being an inner ear issue, although I do have Hypotension Intolerance as well.

My only advice is to NOT let this go...get to see your doctor as soon as possible as dizziness can stem from many things. The longer you let it go, hoping it will just go away like I did, the worse it may (emphasis on may) develop.

It could be anything from an inner ear issue to Neurocardiogenic Syncope to Hypotension to medications.

If you do a search on this website on that subject, you will find a wealth of information.

Hope this helps

Dizzy

I agree with Pookie. It may be related to your blood pressure, but it could be many other things just as well. Get your symptoms checked out. My bouts with dizziness were always related to inner ear/infections.

No Answers from Doctors on the Dizziness

Hello, my father had a pacemaker put in this past March. Three weeks after the pm, my dad had a blood clot. He was then put on blood thinners. Since then he has been dizzy not stop... very dizzy and all day. (says he feels constantly drunk to best describe it). He has had a catscan and has had his inner-ear checked. Doctors say it is not because of the medication and they can't find anything else wrong with him. No one can tell him why he's feeling like this. Has anyone had the same situation?

Allyson.

Is anyone on a blood thinner called Warfarin? My dad has been on it for over 4 months. Has been constantly dizzy. Can anyone tell me symptoms they have had on it? Thanks?
