NO ONE UNDERSTANDS...!

I REALLY APPRECIATE everyone who took the time to comment on my post about that adreneline rush feeling. I know you guys don't know what I'm going through, but I AM NOT A WORRY WART!!! Everyone seems to think that I am waaaayyyy too stressed out, or that I watch too much T.V, or that I am panicking. I just want to clear some things up- I don't watch that much television, I don't stress much and when I do I find a way to manage it, and the feeling comes at random intervals. And I love Cabg Patch, I really do, but THAT was scary, and I don't think anyone is qualified to judge about anything unless you've personally gone through it. IT'S NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU, but your post kind of caught me off gaurd. At 14, ANYTHING can scare you. Thank you again for the TLC you guys provide here (not that my parents don't), and have a TERRIFIC Thanksgiving!!!!!

Hi.....

A panic attack is a physical ailment brought about for either physical or psychological reasons......not the same as being in a flap.

As you feel that nobody understands what you're going through, please get some professional help.....you are very young and should be having a good time.

Hope you find some sense of peace.

Hi.

I'm on the fence about you.

I can't tell if you are stressed out OR are you just dramatic when it comes to emails/postings. If I could hear the tone of your voice, I might be able to figure it out.

Regardless, you are a human being with feelings, emotions, ideas, etc and you are entitled to all of that.

I don't know your history, all I know is that you are very young (which is a good thing!!) and based on what a lot of us adults have gone thru with our devices, meaning stress, anxiety and depression, perhaps it would be a good idea to talk to a professional....I do once a month. I am not ashamed of that as we as human beings need to be able to cope and I just need some help once in awhile and its a great place to be listened to...even if they don't understand what a pacemaker does!!

Good luck and enjoy life!

Understanding

by aldeer - 2008-11-27 04:11:08

Many of us understand you and not are not judging why you feel as you do. Please reread the post you wrote called "scared to death" and look for the comment that ElectricFrank sent you. There are many words of wisdom there. I have six daughters and four sons and really can understand where you are coming from. I think you are very brave and wish you a Happy Thanksgiving.

get some help

by lb151 - 2008-11-27 08:11:36

You really should get professional help for your problems. A counslor at school or someone your cardio can refer you to. Being a child, your brain is still growing and may not be able to deal with your phyical self. After reading your other posts,,you do seem to stress a lot,,although that is completely understandable,,you need to find outside diversions to help you deal.

good luck

Sorry for my own concern...

Maybe I do stress... ABOUT MY OWN HEALTH!! I thoroughly apologize if I am jumping down any one's throat, but I am just a tad bit upset at being told I need professional help because according to you guys, I am psychotic. And yes, I do get passionate about my posts, and any kind of excitement DOES enhance the feeling, but it is not caused by it. Once again, I don't panic more than any normal human being- I am a normal laid back teenager. If this is caused by age and "confusion", I think the cardiologists would have heard about this from their other patients. I wasn't dreaming, but my dog helped wake me up by climbing all over top of me and plus I had to go, if you know what I mean. Anyway, since I am crazy, I wil "take some time off" from this site.

P.S. I believe we went through something similar last year when MarissaB could not comprehend the fact that a newborn needed a pacemaker... Sorry for any inconvienience I've caused... Maybe I'll be back.

Normal teenager?

I don't read where anyone here said you were "crazy" or "psychotic" Those are your own labels. Folks were just trying to be helpful. I hope that none of us now start begging you not to leave. People come and people go of their own volition. If this not a helpful place for you, we can only hope that you can find peace elsewhere. I am greatful that the door here is always open.

You know you're wired when...

You run like the bionic woman.
