Hey!!!!!!!! Yesterday, I read a quote by Maya Angelou: "I've learned that I can have pains, but I don't have to be one." I am going to adapt this into my life, considering the past few months. Even my friends have said, "I hope you feel better Sydney, because, no offense, you can be...kind of a ****." Those were their words, not mine! Anyway, I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas if I'm not here before tomorrow. It's Christmas Eve, and it just seems like 4th of July just passed! So Happy Christmas Eve and Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. I'm waiting on rechargeable batteries LOL ;)

I feel a little better for the moment, but it comes and goes. It's hurting a bit more than it has in the past, but I'm alright. I just got a new digital camera!!! Only the darn software won't work... want to throw it out a window. Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Positive thinking

Reminds me of a time when I went through 4 months of severe headaches. Doctors couldn't find a remedy because they couldn't find a cause - wouldn't listen to my idea, which ended up being right.
Anyway, it seemed I was always 'whining' about not feeling good when asked, so I initiated a plan to solve the behavior even though I couldn't solve the problem.
I posted flyers in the building promising a 'treat' to anyone who caught me complaining about not feeling well. The positive attitude didn't 'cure' the headaches, but did seem to make the pain a bit more bearable.
Of course Maya said it better.
