QOTW and other stuff

Well, I hope that brought smiles this morning. :) Anyway, our band got a "2" on Saturday @ the festival. Here is how the grading works:

1= Superior
2= Excellent
3= OK
4= That sucked!
5= Don't EVER come back

As you know I have been fundraising for Camp Odayin and recently started a program @ my church. My initial goal was to raise money for at least two "heart kids" to go to camp ($50), and one of the Sunday school classes decided to sponsor four kids!!! I cried I was so happy! :) And what's even better is that on the first day of fundraising yeasterday, we got $25, for one child. YEAH!!! That's pretty good, considering the economy. Anyway, have a great day!!

ha ha.... I'm not kidding! I have not musical abilities at all. I can't carry a note in a bucket. I love music, but I can't play or sing. Well not a where anyone would like to listen to me. So I am proud of you! Good job.

Now that is wonderful about your fund raising goals. You really are something, getting things done, creating awareness and setting a good example for others to follow. I am proud to know you.

Hey glad to hear the Band did so well. My daughter is in band as well and they were really happy as they went to State, unfortunately they didn't win but many thought the judges must have been seeing a different show. Their program was " the Countdown begins" based on the belief of the Mayan Calendar. Next week part of the band is headed to Ireland for the St Pat's Day parade too.
