Heart block - as defined in Wikipedia

Sinus rhythm is a term used in medicine to describe the normal beating of the heart.

There are four basic types of AV nodal block: First degree AV block Second degree AV block
A heart block is a disease in the electrical system of the heart. This is opposed to coronary artery disease, which is disease of the blood vessels of the heart.

While coronary artery disease can cause angina (chest pain) or myocardial infarction (heart attack), heart block can cause lightheadedness, syncope (fainting), and palpitations

In more simple language (to me at least) is with heart block the electrical impulse generated by your heart's natural pacemaker is having trouble getting to the heart chambers to cause your heart to pump blood as it should. This results in your heart beat being irregular or it may beat slow. Heart blocks are the most common reasons pacemakers are implanted.
