Has anyone here heard of any information which implies that there could be chest pain associated with right ventricle pacing? My doc is suggesting that perhaps my intermittent chest pain is caused by the pacing in the right ventricle. I pace 100% in the atrium and 40% in the ventricle. Pain feels about the size of a quarter and is kind of a "pinching" sensation. Could a lead placement problem cause this?

My pacemaker was installed in 1998 and I have not felt better. The mental part is the toughest.

hi. i also get chest pain once in a while. docs say it is difficult to diagnose for sure what the cause of it is. I am 100% dependent on my pacer.. I oftten feel a sharp chest pain when my heart is racing. Talk to your doctor so he/she can run further tests.
