Take some time

Take some time to sort this out and talk to your doctors and as many people as you can. I have a pm, my cardiologist has said I could do some jobs but my ep says no stress at all and a complete life style change. In the end its something that only you can make the choice.

Listen to the doc

Its up to you, I do more now than I did before. I coach soccer, volunteer fire fighter, hunt, fish ride my motorcycle you name it. My Doc said don’t slow down. He gave me a list of things to watch for and said go with it. I’m 33 got an ICD in Feb of 07 and I’m still an active duty Marine. I was lucky and cleared by the MED board to stay in. I still work on airplanes and do all the required Marine tasks. I even am about to get cleared to deploy again. Just listen to your doctor do what he tells you is the best advice anyone can give.

I agree with the others but listen to your doctor and I always say you will know your limits over time.

Jobs

I don't know about an ICD but I was told I could just about anything with a PM. You might want to ask your EP what restrictions you have, if any.

Good Luck!

I am active duty HM in the Navy. I got mine on 2006. I am still in the military but worried I might get kick out on my upcoming EAOS. Any suggestion out there. Please Help. Thank you.
