Stress

Me again. Just thanked all for welcoming me on here. Glad to have found this site. I must learn to take things in my stride and one day at a time. Perhaps this will help with the shortness of breath which I know is stress related. I went for a walk this morning and didn't get short of breath at all. My trouble is I sit down take my pulse and cannot believe the rate, vicious circle shortness of breath kicks in.

I had such a tough time adjusting to my pm. Physically all went well with my pm but I just couldn't adjust emotionally. I could run, exercise but when I wasn't i was short of breath, feeling aches and phantom pains.
It's been 10 months and some counseling later and all is well. I'm ignoring those aches and talking to myself regarding my health.
I honestly thought I wouldn't ever get my life back. But with time, rest, this site and friends it's all good now. It still gets surreal at times but I see light at the end of the tunnel. I honestly believe that relieving the stress is dependent on understanding what the pm does and being convinced that everything is working properly.
