Hi
Not been on the site for ages and coping well. Recently though have had a bout of missed beats feels uncomfortable. Went into A & E and they hooked me to a heart monitor for the night and said nothing untoward and I am due to see a cardiologist on the 29th September. Been told in the meantime to not over-do exercise until checked.
Anyone else out there get these bouts and any info on what I can do.

I wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for pacemakers. I've had mine for 35+ years. I was fainting all of the time and had flat-lined also. I feel very blessed to live in this time of technology.
Missed beats...

Irregular heartbeats can be harmless... but I know, from experience, that sometimes a 24 hr monitor does NOT catch everything.
If you feel as if something is not being caught or recorded, as about an ecardio device. I actually wore mine 3 wks straight the first time, and 2 wks the second. They caught VT on the 10th day the 1st time I wore it. I now have a pace/Diff. (please know that these are not the funnest things to wear for weeks at a time)
My 1st Dr I had for 20yrs and never caught it! After his office staff dismissed me having issues (like turning blue) my family insisted I switch and the new team of Drs found some issues that my 1st never told me existed.
Wish there was easy answers!
