Any suggestions

Hey Guys:
I was wondering if any of you with HF may have any suggestions. We ended up moving about 15 months ago from Altitude to sea level due to all the issues I have been having. One thing I am noticing is that as the weather warms up my fluid retention builds up. I am taking 40mg of lasix BID, Aldactione 50mg a day, coreg and tykosin. My doc says that it isn't uncommon to have increase in fluid . . Have any of you mastered a plan that may reduce the sx that you might suggest? I hate to have to increase my meds because that my cause other issue. I might also add that I have been on Naproxen too as needed and originally thought that I needed to start taking it on a regular basis but it actually made things worse so my cardiologist suggested that I discontinue it for now.

hi, warm weather does cause fluid retention, I also have chf and I am taken 80mg of lasix a day, but I had a bad experience with tykosin o few years ago infact it was in Jan. of 2006, they put me in the hospital to give me tykosin and 2 hours after giving it to me, I went into cardiac arrest, the nurses was waiting for the doctor to call time of death when I came back, and then 1/2 hour later the same thing happen, but was not gone as long, and of couse was told never to take it again...I guess some people can take it...any way for the fluid I would suggest that you call your doctor and make appointment
good luck
