PM inserted today!

Well I was successful with having my pacemaker inserted today. I arrived at St. Josephs at 8am and finally got out of there around 3pm! To all responders of my 'staying overnight' questions, I am also one of the few who did not have to stay overnight! A real 'out patient' experience.
Anyway, does anyone have the Zephyr SR Model 5626 from St. Jude Medical? That's what I have.
Thanks.....duggie

Gooble, gobble, gooble, gobble... one of us... one of us... :)

Who was your DR? I had my PM replaced at St Joes in Burbank 4 weeks ago.

Is the Zephyr XL DR Model 5826. I don't think they make a 5626 model... did you mean to type 5826?

Happy pacing.

I found it

I went to the St Jude and site and typed it in. I really have no idea why one would get one model and not the other... am curious to research it now, after the fact.

Sounds like your feeling OK. Take it easy for a while and then forget you have a PM and have fun.

Actually, the info came from the temporary card the doc gave me; could be a typo since the card only had model as 5626.
The web site shows the SR 5820, 5826 and DR 5626. I
thought maybe it may be a new model. Guess I will find out from the doc next week.
I had my done in Atlanta St. Josephs...
