Search Facility

Can't believe I have been using the site for seven weeks and have only just found the 'Search' on the top right. And that is thanks to Harley63 who mentioned in a reply to a posting that I have just read. It is brilliant and provides answers to most of the questions that I have asked over the last weeks - so I probably didn't need to actually post these questions, all the answers were already there.

The plus side of not seeing it is that I had to pluck up the courage to get involved and become an active member not a passive one. I do think this in itself has helped me a great deal in coming to terms with this alien invasion!

So thanks to those members who take the time to answer those questions that have been asked by new members so many times before and not just say 'hit the search button'!

Hi Amy

I'm not sure I'd have ever found it on my own! I would have found it easily if it had been on the left hand side - think I have clicked on everything over there but probably only used the grey bit at the top when I joined and haven't even noticed that grey bar since.

It is so useful that maybe it might be helpful to have the button on the left side of the page. But maybe it is just us two thickos and everyone else has been clicking away!

Well don't I feel dumb! It's the blonde in me! LOL I have been a member for 9 months and log on several times a day and I didn't know it was there either till I read your post. Thanks Sue!
