Pookie update

Hello to everyone and thanks SO much for the words of encouragement/support and prayers for Pookie. I just spoke to her via phone and have this to share.... she did fly in to see her family as planned. Today she feels somewhat better, but still is a long way from total resolution of this stomach issue. (Only living on beef broth, crackers and water!!) She has been to tour, I mean see, the local ER and the MD there changed up some medications. Let's all pray that this change will be the healing relief she so needs at this time.

Pookie has NO idea how much she means to so many on this site!!! If you feel so inclined, send her a private message to tell her how special she is and how much she is missed.

Will keep you all updated if anything changes, as she is out of touch with internet at the moment.

So very sorry to hear that Pookie is not feeling good. I always enjoy her comments on here and miss her not being around lately.

I will definitely remember Pookie in my thoughts and prayers. Perhaps she just needs a good bout of that delicious Nova Scotia Lobster...or for the time being...lobster bisque.

Thinking of her and all those who are just not feeling up to snuff these days. Some days it is just harder than others to remain positive but we are lucky that we have been given the chance to carry on.

First, I am so glad to haer that she got herself on that plane. But to be so sick...how dreadful!

Have you seen her yet? I wasn't sure... Thank you so much for the update, though!!!

I really don't know you Pookie, but it seem to me many here care so much about you. I sent a prayer to the heavens for you and may the Lord reply with a great burst of healing for you and the rest of us as well. God bless you and may you stand in good health!
