NEWBIE

Hello, I just joined the group! I have had a pacemaker since 2002. I have been searching for something or someone to talk with about my pacemaker because it does feel like after you get one put in no one fills you in on what could happen or how you may feel. Finding this website and reading everyone elses stories has really helped me. Now I know I'm not the only one out there having some of the same systoms talked about here. Thanks to all you who will open up and talk. It may take me a little while to warm up and open up but I hope I do!!

Lord knows you are not the only one with symptoms and a pacemaker!! I'm glad you found us and can either celebrate on the good days or commiserate during the bad. This is a great site with some of the "greatest people you'll never meet" (<--as many have said before me). Many of us are more than willing to share our experiences with you, so don't take too long to thaw out and warm up to us. Especially if you're having problems. We want to help! Besides, you've had a pacer since 2002...you could probably help a lot of others.

If you have had a pacemaker since 02... you might be a newbie to the site, but certainly can offer your insights into coping and symptoms, etc. to those of us who are really new to having a pacemaker!

I am very glad to have found this site as well. Lots of good information here and helpful folks. I have been to several other pacemaker sites but this one has the most information! :)
