STRANGE ACTIVITY

I have St Jude IntegrityAFxDR Model 5346 for complete heartblock fitted 6 yrs, no probs todate. 2 weeks ago I returned from holiday on Airbus 320( never used these before) and at end of flt felt unwell and for 2 weeks to today have had AF type palpitations in chest throat and top of tum, went for checkup today and was told that it was malfunctioning and only pacing in one chamber and all the data had to be rebooted? and the pacer reset. Consultant is sending info to St Jude but I am flying (737) before I will get any feedback ( answers may not be found anyway). I did not go thru the scanner-never do- and the only difference was that I sat by the exit door by the wing and the Airbus is a Fly by wire flight control system sending electronic signals to the flight surfaces.
Anyone any ideas- thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Lost its Integrity???

Thats a good one. Who knows what sort of things you might have been exposed to not only on the Airbus, but in and around the airport. They don't tell us about the "other" security systems.
Another thought although I would image the consultant would have checked is battery failure. At 6 years you are getting near the limit for battery life depending on the pacing energy it is set for. The condition you mention is similar to the low battery fail safe condition that most pacers enter. They drop to fixed rate single lead monopolar pacing of the ventricles to conserve remaining battery life.
Did you get a printout of the pre and post reprogramming settings?

Did respond yesterday but as this is my first message on this brill website don't know if you rec'd it.
Thank you for your ideas. The consultants said that there is 2-3yrs battery life left even though 100% dependant. He's updated me today and is meeting a rep of St Jude in the UK on Fri to hand over data and is phoning with info about the plane as he was very interested in the Fly by wire design using electronic transmissions to fly it so it seems to be a wait and see but until it is resolved we've decided not to fly even the 737s.
Thanks again
