I rode the roller coasters! ;D I asked the NP & she said she didn't see why I couldn't.
I do have a question though~
I had my pm placed early march of this year & am 36yo. 2 years ago I rode the rollercoasters & after everyone I felt really light-headed & couldn't ride them w/o feeling oozie.... Prior to PM do you think my heart could have been the reason I felt bad way back then? I haven't had dx heart probs then... just the PVC's that were 'harmless'.
Just curious...
Thanks,
Jolene

The main effect of riding the roller coaster is high sympathetic nervous system arousal with resultant adrenal response. If you were borderline as far as arrhythmia problems this could be enough to put you into a problem. Now the pacemaker steps in and keeps thing working in those situations.
