I'm not positive, but isn't that what your atrial rate is on its own?

I had a pacemaker when I was 11. I never once thought I wasn't a 'normal kid' nor was I ever treated differently because of it. I could do everything all my friends were doing; I just happened to have a battery attached to my heart to help it work.

to break down words in pieces.
Medical terminology is just hubba-hub until you break it down in smaller pieces.
Maybe this will help you out a bit
Intrinsic: "Built in"
"basic"
"essential"
"natural"
"fundamental"
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I concur with Tracey. I believe your intrinsic atrial rate is ALL YOU baby! It's what your atrial rate is without being paced.
Call your cardiologist's nurse, or just someone at your doctor's office. They should be able to help you find a definitive answer.
