Maxx

Maxx is our new puppy. Wow, I didn't realize they were so much work, but we're getting along wonderfully but he really is a handful. We've been attending puppy socialization classes and when he is 12 weeks old we can then start obedience classes.

I am very glad we decided to add Maxx to our family because he is such a positive addition to our lives. Yes, I'm finding it hard to keep up with him and my schedule as I knew it has been blown out the window, but that's okay. He certainly takes my mind off of me, which is a good thing.

So...that is why I haven't been around for the past week. I miss coming on here every day.

A special hello to Jessie & Turbo....boy I miss our chats.

Pookie

Great idea getting a dog. I have a beagle pup. He's six mos now. I got him at 8 weeks. He's stubborn and a pain in the butt; however I still enjoy his company. He also keeps our cat in line. Good luck with the pup.

Hi pookie, ive got 2 other dogs, rather old, and one quite poorly now, which is upsetting me a lot, you get so attached to animals. Anyways i wasnt thinking of getting a new one, but long story, and i ended up with a 1 year old jack russell cross a month ago. Hes had two ops and is doing well, but, omg, hes got an ASBO! lol, he is soooooooooooooooooo naughty!!!!! But bless him he's livened up me and the other dogs! lol.

njoy your pup

envious

Hi Pookie,
I'm sooo envious. I would love a puppy.
Circumstances don't permit at the moment, but i've got two gorgeous pussy cats, half Siamese & half Himalayan. Mimi & Tenzing. They sure take your mind of your troubles.
Enjoy loving Maxx

When my neighbour's dog was a puppy he was a right tearaway - he ate one of her Cliff Richard CDs, and NOBODY does that!! Except Jack, obviously, for some reason she forgave him.

I've always wanted a dog or a cat, but my dad's allergic so I'm going to have to wait until I move out. :)

allergies

by Hot Heart - 2009-07-22 03:07:31

Hi petrol my daughter is allergic to some types of fur, but after initial sneezing episodes her body has always adjusted to the dogs that we have had.

If you cant get a dog of your own, why not go to your local rescue and help out there, you can often go and walk the dogs, its lovely.

I love this new part of me, and very, very thankful that this technology exists and I know that it's all only going to get better over time.
