THANK YOU....from Pookie

Hi again everyone.

Thanks for all of the support when I needed it the most. I truly appreciate your kindness and encouragement.

Yes, I live in Canada and our health care system sucks...at least where I live and I did ask the booking clerk when I returned the Holter this past Tuesday if there was any way I could get in before December 3 to see the EP, but she said his calendar was full. I asked her to put my name on a cancellation list as I only live 10 minutes from the hospital, don't work, and can be there within 15 minutes. And she did say there has been an increase in cancellations because of the Swine Flu, so she told me to feel free to call on Monday .... which I will.

If, however, I get any worse, I will go to the ER. It will be my 5th time this year and really don't want to go through the old song and dance and then be sent home with nothing. But if I have to; I will.....

I'm always the one on here telling everyone else to go to the ER ... my famous words are: when in doubt, go get it checked out!!!! :) for safety and peace of mind. It's just that I've been there SO many times during the past 5 yrs that they actually know me by name!!! and I think they think I'm just an over anxious female needing some attention.

Today I am feeling much better with the shortness of breath and even had the energy to go shopping for an hour. I just had to get out of the house as I was starting to climb the walls.

I just wish our medical system was like that in the United States.

Again, thanks everyone, I appreciate your support. I just got really really really down because I was scared and had all these crazy symptoms going on...so I'm sure anxiety had a part in the way I was feeling. But I'm still angry as 5 yrs is way too long to feel this crappy.

I will call first thing on Monday morning and tell the booking clerk that she is just going to have to squeeze me in sometime this week.

Thanks,
Pookie

It could be alot of nerves also. Lloyd sick, your illness, it all adds up that you are under alot of stress, and nerves will make you sick, im glad you got out. I know that I get depressed sometimes being stuck in the house all the time now. My outlet is fishing. You have to have an outlet Pookie. Hope it keeps getting better.

Well pookie. if our senate goes along with our house of representatives, we will have the same kind of medical that you have in Canada. I suspect it will be even worse as it will be controled by a 2000 page document that nobody has read

Thomas.

Good!
