Pookie's Rotator Cuff

Hi Again.

Last month I finally found out why my left shoulder was killing me for the past 4 yrs.....I have a 50% torn rotator cuff.

Yesterday I finally got in to see the specialist and he has decided that the best route for now is to strengthen the muscles. So I go back today to learn specific exercises.

Then in the summer he said he would CT scan my shoulder again, and if it was worse, we would or could go ahead with the surgery.

Let's hope the exercises work for me!!!!!!!

Heat, Massage and gentle movements.

I would choose exercise over surgery any day. I imagine it will be a long painful process, with success being achieved by summer time. Hopefully you could pamper yourself to some nice massage treatments which will also aid in relaxing your whole body, Pookie.
And I believe heat to bring more blood to the area. Just be careful not to overdo with the exercise.
