A new update...

So today I had a follow up visit with my EP. Last time I was there they had to raise the power on one of my leads. Today I mentioned how painful my incision site has been. They looked at it and said that I had developed a Keyloid and that there was really nothing they could do for it. Then they started interrogating the PM and couldnt make a connection with one of my wires. They did a few xrays and lots of tests and they all revealed that my lead had pulled out. So the doctor wants to repair it ASAP. Anyone know how long the recovery will be for that? Thanks everyone.

Had Several Done

I’ve had several lead revisions done and the recovery is the same as it was when you first received your pacemaker. (Except this time you know what to expect – big difference)

They will take your pacemaker out and replace and/or reposition the lead then put the pacer back so it is pretty much the same as an install job.

You will be limited once again when it come to lifting your arm and possibly a little in your activities.

If you have anymore questions I’d be happy to help if I can.

Live Well & God Bless
