adoption

I am 33 yrs old and had my pacemaker implanted a year ago. My husband and I are looking into adoption specifically from Korea. We have heard that some countries are strict when it comes to parents having medical issues. I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with this subject.

I was interested in the adoption questions, but noticing the dates of the posts, you can tell I am not on this site often. I have a pacemaker and we adopted 2 children from Brazil in 1999. I am sure every contry is different, but my pacemaker was never even mentioned. I passed a physical with flying colors and that was suffient. Their government was more concerned about our age rather than our health...Our boys are all grown up now, in fact the younger turned 20 today and the other is a Marine. We have been blessed.
