Hi Everyone, I'm Back....

Hi to all members of the Pacemaker Club,

I am back from my Huge Ugly Operation......finally able to get on with my life again. :)

It was a humdinger of an op, lots of pain, etc as well as a 16 inch scar from my breastbone, then follows below my ribcage to about an inch of my back. OUCH!

Spent 6 days in the hospital, then staggered home to recover.

We arranged for my daughters to spend 4 nights, Hubby stayed for one ( in a private room) and the first night was in a step-down unit.

The great news, it wasn't malignant but I will be followed for the rest of my life for liver/pancreatic cancer.

The 'end bits' of my Common Bile Duct are still in the organs and could cause problems. Hopefully NOT.

It's been a long haul, couldn't hold the computer (laptop) or lift anything til last week.

Now, I can do anything as long as it doesn't hurt.

Liver Guy says it'll take a whole year for the burning sensations and pain to resolve. The great news?
It's NOT cancer!!

I'd like to thank everyone for their kind words, positive thoughts, prayers and messages.

Magster, nope, no laughter.....but I did smile at the fella who brought me liquid food for 3 days, saying 'yummy yummy'.

I smiled more when he brought the one solid meal and said 'better yummy yummy'. ;D

As you all know, I was very frightened of this whole thing but now, Bionic Beat is back and will be present on an almost daily basis.

Cheers everyone!

And Thankyou from the bottom of my electrically challenged heart!

I've been wondering how you are doing!!!!!!!!!!!! It sounds like you've been through the ringer but are on your way back. So glad to hear it's benign.
