Can a person........

Can a person 'faint' or pass out when their ventricles are being paced at 100%??

Even during extreme distress??

We got some very bad news the other day and I felt like fainting but just had trouble inhaling.........that's why I'm asking.

Thanks

You sure can. The pm will keep your hr up. It can't control your blood pressure or oxygen intake.

{{{hugs}}} I'm sorry you got bad news.

Sweetie, please don't ever wish it wasn't keeping you up!!! I believe with all my heart that god never gives us anything he doesn't also give us the strength to handle, and everything that happens is part of god's plan for us. You are still with us for a reason, don't wish for anything else. Whatever's going on, you will get through it. {{{hugs}}}

Pm's can help regulate your blood pressure, but they don't control it.

Thankyou

Thankyou for your reply TraceyE.

I wondered if my pacemaker was keeping my bp up as well.

Almost wished I didn't have it, almost.....

Thanks for the {{{hugs}}} too, sending some back to you for being such a good friend.
