symptoms??

I am wondering what are the signs or symptoms of an atrial lead dislodging? I have been raising my arm too early after surgery--about 4-5 weeks and just recently (8 weeks post-OP)
I am having pain in my atrium. Could I have dislodged a lead?
Does anybody know the signs/symptoms?
Thanks-
Lexi

Dislodged lead

The effect of a dislodged atrial lead depend on what the lead is being used for and how often it is needed.

I doubt very much that moving your arm over your head at 4 weeks would cause a problem. I went back to full activity in about 3 weeks with none at all.

I'm wondering how you know the pain is in your atrium. It is more likely from the implant site. I would call the doc and ask. If you are feeling uneasy about it ask for a check up Get a printout if you do. The checkup downloads information from the pacemaker and the atrial lead impedance will tell all.
