back to the gym!

Had my first trip back to the gym with my new hardware! Two weeks and two days post op. I didn't do arms and didn't push it, but I got in 20 min on the elliptical and felt good.

The glass is always half full. Always!!!!!

You've really come a long way since you started posting here. Don't know if you can tell the difference or not, but I can see it in your posts. You're getting there!

Dizzy on treadmill

by DanaT - 2010-02-10 05:02:32

Hi Tracey. I used to get dizzy on the treadmill if I was on too long. So now I just avoid it altogether. Did you ever have that problem and did it stop after your pm?

Everything made me dizzy before my pm! Anything that would make your hr go up, my hr just stayed the same and I got dizzy. Now it goes up and down normally and I haven't found anything I can't do. I'll do the treadmill if there isn't an elliptical open, bikes are good, roller blade, aerobics and spin class, weight machines... it's all good now!

I just want to share about the quality of life after my pacemaker, and hopefully increase awareness that lifestyles do not have to be drastically modified just because we are pacemaker recipients.
