Problem??

Why not just tell the doctor what you are feeling and let him decide.

As Gellia said you should revert to the problems you were having before you got the pacemaker if a lead is broken. X-ray would probably show the broken lead but a pacemaker check will also show if there is a malfunction with a lead. Either way, it means a trip to the doctor, but if you let him decide how to determine what is wrong it may save you a few bucks, if that matters to you

Lots of us with pacemakers get "strange" heart beats from time to time and there is nothing wrong. You might consider counting your pulse and if it is at or above the low set point your pacemaker that problably means nothing is wrong with the pacemaker, and you just have a stranger in the house. If it is not causing you any problem---- never mine, the only sure way to know what is going on is to see the doctor.

Good luck to you.

Depending on why you got the pacemaker, your old symptoms would come back if it were a complete break.

If your heart is skipping around and you feel badly, ask for a chest xray. It would show if a lead is broken.

You should get it checked.

Good luck.
Best to you,
Gellia

Get It Checked

Better safe than sorry. Please do get it checked. An alternative to X-ray is to have the manufacturer interrogate the status of the leads with their programmer ....Best to you ..
