An Apple a Day

This may sound a little crazy but it works for me. I usually have some kind of arrhythmia everyday. These don't stop me from doing anything they are just annoying. The other day I could feel I was beating irregular. I took a break and ate an apple. A couple minutes later the arrhythmia was gone. Now I eat an apple every time I feel an arrhythmia. For all I know it may be in my mind but I can't argue with success. Has anyone else noticed certain foods helping with their irregular beats? In my case an apple a day does keep the Dr away.

Apples are a very good source of potassium. And a natural source of potassium that you get from an apple is very beneficial to the heart. It strengthens your heart and steadies the beat. We should all eat an apple a day, and two apples would probably be even better. Keep munching, your not imagining these benefits.Remember the old adage, "an apple a day keeps the doctor away" Cheers Peter

Age Old Apples

The proff is in the Eating!!! My mother had A-Fib for her last 30 years of her life. She was on blood pressure meds, potassium and a little Lasix.. She was an apple eater, tons of apples in her lifetime and she peacefully fell asleep after enjoying her apple juice at breakfast at the Care Facility where she was living. She attained the age of being 37 days short of 101 years. She also was able to fight off any of the normal bugs that float around the facility. Yup, Apples Work!!! DonB
