Don't Be Anxious

by dship - 2008-08-28 06:08:06

The anxiety I experienced was worse than the PM procedure 10 days ago. If I knew what I know now (like I'm telling you), I would have been much calmer. No kidding I was ready to sprint out of preop! But as it turned out it was quick and overwith. I was on my way home (a 3 hour drive) exactly 24 hours after the procedure.
I only caution you that when you begin to feel really good don't overdo it. After a week you'll start to feel really good! Think positive. Every day is a gift for us to enjoy! Let us hear how you're doing!

You know you're wired when...

You run like the bionic woman.

I'm 35 and got my pacemaker a little over a year ago. It definitely is not a burden to me. In fact, I have more energy (which my husband enjoys), can do more things with my kids and have weight because of having the energy.
