interfearence

Went to my cardi. last week, she checked my ICD/PM.
She said something about some whisling sound while on the computer, what was that all about. She really didn't. She also told me I had interference. Three times, does if anyone else had this happen to them. Thanks for all you did for me.

ICD/PM

Meant when she checked my icd/pm, while checking my device she said that she heard a whistle sound, I went for my 1st check up. Also she told me there had been some interfence... it had happened 3 different times while I was at home.. Don't know what had caused it. Don't know if it happened in those weeks, after I came home or when she was checking my ICD/PM. The whistle sound while she was checking my device, the nurse heard it, too
Could a microwave do it. Or working on my computer, sitting too close. Thanks

Rayan,

I have noticed some interference when I am standing around a radio and sometimes a computer. Most the time I only notice the interference when my pacemaker is going off. Ive asked the doctor and there doesn't seem to be a problem but your best bet is to check with the manufacture and see if anything you are around could possibly interfere.

good luck,

Wii?

Have you been playing on a Wii Fit? That can cause problems if you do some of the yoga moves that get your unit too close to it. Maybe a cell phone? Computers and microwaves should not cause problems. Did she say how long the interference lasted and if it caused a problem? Because if it was fast and harmless, I wouldn't give it another thought!

No I didn't play a wii. I do use the cell phone. Also use a portable phone. She didn't say how long it lasted or what caused it.
Thanks for your information, really appreciate it.

phones

Take your phone with you next time. Do you sometimes hold it with your shoulder? That can cause problems with some phones/some pm's.

You know you're wired when...
