The Award Ceremony......

For those of you who were at the Award Ceremony the other night.... please read on.....

As some of you may have noticed..... I disappeared halfway through the evening...... right after the bit where Tracey had that ... um ... situation with Debbies' ice-cream and Keith Urban....... Well, George Clooney's bow-tie came undone and I offered to go and help him with it.... snigger snigger!! and we ended up in the Lobby.... and... erm.... well, I had to check on the red-carpet one more time to make sure there was no... erm... dirt or anything on it. (Remember, it was my job to look after the red-carpet after all!). George also wanted to find Bill to sort out some earlier dispute about him (George) being gay??!! But Bill was too busy being distracted by a certain someone's red leather bikini........

And that was NOT me in the Limo - doing the famous hand thing on the steamy window like in the famous film, Titanic! Angelie! you gonna fess up???!!!

It was funny though, when I eventually went back into the awards, Tracey raised an eyebrow and pointed towards my high heels - for some reason there were some red feathers attatched to my shoe........ still trying to fathom that one out... and in fact, still finding feathers today...!!!!

It was so lovely to see you all there. Especially those who were anticipating awards, who had scrawled their acceptance speeches on the backs of serviettes and match boxes. Bit worried when Cabg keeled over on the podium - but wow! look at the way his bow tie spun round - and kept going!!!!

I think we should all put our hands together and applaud our very dear friend TRACEY for organising this event..... without her , none of this would be possible, so let's hear it for TRACEY - *whistles, applause, smiling, screaming, diapers being thrown in the air... landing on Cabg's head......*

I did get a little 'merry' after all those free drinks, I think Tracey will remember that bit when I nearly went head first into her famous Key Lime Pie... and then lunged at Keith Urban thinking it was George Clooney - whoops!!!! Never seen Tracey do that before.......... hhhmmmmm..... think she is still talking to me... and I am now walking better.....

Anyway - regarding the hosting of the forthcoming Pacing Olympics.... yes, think it should be held here in Dorset UK, the health care is cheaper here!!! I am already in training.... for high jump.... especially in my heels.....

This comes with much love and thanks again for a superb evening - each and everyone of you made it so special..... especially certain moments ....................

Love & Hugs, Loopy Lou xxxxxxxxxxxx

I finished 29th in London in 2 hours 20 minutes 30 seconds which is my fastest with or without a device so clearly it didn’t slow me down ! I had no problems apart from some slight chaffing on my scar - more Vaseline next time.
