Not feeling so good :(

Hey guys - hope you are all well.

I'm not so good........... was sat down watching t.v. yesterday and had this wierd feeling from my waist up to my head.... it was almost like being dizzy but sitting down?? And no, I wasn't watching a George Clooney movie!

Last night, didn't sleep well. Kids are on holiday so I wanted to sleep in! ha ha! fat chance..... I kept getting these awful feelings in my chest.... (a bit like a horse galloping over me! - not that I know what that feels like..... or... like someone drumming....)!!

Feeling a bit light-headed despite eating breakfast. (You know the feeling you get if you haven't eaten.... a bit wobbly). Just feel very, very tired and drained.... any suggestions.

I have 2nd degree heart block. Do you think these feelings happend when Gerry the Pacemaker kicks in and does his job??

I don't want to keep going back to my pacing technician all the time - probably to be told, there is nothing wrong!! Is this a case of having 'off' days and learn to put up with them???

ARGHHHHH!!!!! All suggestions greatly received!

Love & Hugs, Loopy Lou xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

It seems to me that you need a loop recorder or at least a..holter to check your heart rate;.even you have a pacemaker...I have this feeling almost every morning but the beta blocker i took it in the last time seems to help me (i thing so..)...and from my experience a good sleep is even more important than food..
I HOPE you'll feel better soon.Keep us in touch.
Anette.

Call you doctor

Sounds like you could use some advice from a professional. It doesn't sound good to me. I live with the dizziness when sitting or laying down all the time....it's my afib working overtime.

Call your doctor and let us know what he says!

Take care,

Debbie

call!

I'm sorry you're not feeling well again! Chest pain is nothing to mess around with, please call your doctor. If all you have is an av block, you really should not be having off days if the pm is doing its job. Keep pestering them!!! Sometimes we have secondary (minor) problems that are masked by our bigger problem (av block) so it can take a bit to figure out what's going on and get the pm programmed just right. Is Mark home or are you on your own?

Hi Loopy, shortly after getting my PM (about 6 mos) I started feeling poorly. It turns out that I had developed tackycardia (sp?) in addition to the problems I already had.

So after a quick check up and I was given meds to control it. So far it is working and it has been about 3.5 years since.

I don't know what is making you feel so bad, but I do know it could be any number of things. Please get checked out. You shouldn't be feeling so sick.

I have to dress for work, but had to chime in for you.
Be safe and healthy,
Pacergirl

p.s. Get Checked out today!

aww! thanks!
